Gatherings
Sunday Morning
We gather to worship God and receive God’s gifts of forgiveness, new life, and eternal salvation in the Word and Sacrament. Our worship service begins with a time of confession and forgiveness, liturgy in the Lutheran Service Book, Bible study and sermon, prayer, Holy Communion, and Traditional Hymns.
Growth Groups
We have a variety of small groups that meet for Bible study in homes and at the church, called “Growth Groups.” It’s important to connect with God’s people outside of Sunday church services so we can build up one another’s faith and serve God in the mission field of Corvallis. You do not have to be a member of Shepherd of the Valley to join a growth group.
Christian Fellowship
At Shepherd of the Valley, our goal is to study the Scriptures, learn about the life of Jesus, and grow as His disciples. These weekly fellowship times are a great way to connect with other followers of Christ and also to learn about lutheranism if you have questions. These fellowship times are open to new visitors.
