Weekly Christian Fellowship Times

At Shepherd of the Valley, our goal is to study the Scriptures, learn about the life of Jesus, and grow as His disciples. These weekly fellowship times are a great way to connect with other followers of Christ and also to learn about lutheranism if you have questions. These fellowship times are open to new visitors. If you have questions about these weekly fellowship times and would like more information, please contact the church office.

Tuesday Fellowship & Bible Study

This is a Bible study led by the Pastor. He will share the Scripture readings planned for the worship service on the following Sunday at Shepherd of the Valley. The input and feedback from those who attend help shape his message and the experience of people who will attend the Sunday worship service. It’s a different study each week and is designed for adults; new-comers and visitors are encouraged to join! The group meets on Tuesdays, 10:00 – 11:30am at the Shepherd of the Valley church building.

Wednesday Women’s Fellowship

This is a group for women, and all ages are encouraged to join. They often go out on “field trips,” such as wildflower walks, bird watching, or to visit local gardens around Corvallis. If there is a fifth Wednesday in the month, they often gather for a community project benefiting the people of the city. This group meets on the first and third Wednesdays (and fifth Wednesday if applicable), 10:00 – 11:30am at the Shepherd of the Valley church building. New people and visitors are welcome.

Second Wednesday Potluck Fellowship

This group is generally composed of retired members, but all ages are welcome. The gathering begins with a short devotional teaching from the Bible, led by one of our Pastors, followed by singing one or two hymns. The meal is served at noon. Each person brings a main dish, salad, or dessert to share. The fellowship and the food are always wonderful and plentiful. Meetings are held at 11:30am. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Shepherd of the Valley church building. If you are new or a visitor, please join us on the second Wednesday of the month!
